Our Wedding

David&nbsp;and&nbsp;Gracie's&nbsp;love&nbsp;story,&nbsp;like&nbsp;many&nbsp;modern&nbsp;tales,&nbsp;began&nbsp;online&nbsp;but&nbsp;truly&nbsp;took&nbsp;flight&nbsp;during&nbsp;their&nbsp;unforgettable&nbsp;first&nbsp;date. What&nbsp;started&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;simple&nbsp;mall&nbsp;date&nbsp;became&nbsp;a&nbsp;memorable,&nbsp;five-hour&nbsp;exploration&nbsp;of&nbsp;Great&nbsp;Lakes&nbsp;Crossing. There,&nbsp;amidst&nbsp;the&nbsp;hustle&nbsp;and&nbsp;bustle,&nbsp;conversation&nbsp;flowed&nbsp;as&nbsp;easy&nbsp;as&nbsp;magic,&nbsp;and&nbsp;it&nbsp;wasn't&nbsp;long&nbsp;before&nbsp;their&nbsp;shared&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;Harry&nbsp;Potter&nbsp;and&nbsp;dreams&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;future&nbsp;blossomed&nbsp;into&nbsp;a&nbsp;deep&nbsp;affection. Fittingly,&nbsp;on&nbsp;their&nbsp;one-year&nbsp;anniversary,&nbsp;and&nbsp;shortly&nbsp;after&nbsp;moving&nbsp;into&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;home,&nbsp;David&nbsp;brought&nbsp;Gracie&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;their&nbsp;special&nbsp;mall.&nbsp;Under&nbsp;the&nbsp;enchanting&nbsp;blue&nbsp;glow&nbsp;within&nbsp;the&nbsp;Sea&nbsp;Life&nbsp;Aquarium,&nbsp;he&nbsp;knelt&nbsp;down&nbsp;and&nbsp;asked&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;his&nbsp;wife,&nbsp;perfectly&nbsp;sealing&nbsp;their&nbsp;serendipitous&nbsp;journey&nbsp;back&nbsp;where&nbsp;it&nbsp;all&nbsp;began. Now,&nbsp;they're&nbsp;eagerly&nbsp;awaiting&nbsp;their&nbsp;next&nbsp;great&nbsp;adventure:&nbsp;saying,&nbsp;"I&nbsp;do."

Jessica Rathburn - Maid of Honor

Jessica and Gracie met in seventh grade where they shared a gym class. That's when Gracie learned Jessica has zero athletic ability. They bonded over Justin Bieber and their favorite show Victorious. They quickly became great friends and have been inseparable ever since. 13 years of friendship and they are still going strong today. Jessica and Gracie may fight like sisters but have always had a strong bond. When Jessica met David she could tell he was a great guy and he would treat her best friend like a queen. Jessica and David have since become great friends. Jessica is ecstatic to be apart of Gracie and David's special day as she knows their love will be everlasting.

Michael Burke - Best Man

While being the best man is an honor, its more of an honor to be David's friend for so long. We'd met in middle school band and started a friendship after I had borrowed his Legend of Zelda manga to read. We'd drifted apart for a bit when I stopped taking band, but soon reunited in high school theater club. Through horrible stage plays to introducing him to dnd and magic (I'm sorry Gracie) David's been consistent in one thing above all. He's honest and a true friend that I'm happy is letting me be apart of his special day with the woman he loves.

Dahlia Kassel -  Bridesmaid

Dahlia met David in the womb as they are fraternal twins and as they like to say “built in besties.” David and Dahlia grew up together, had the same teachers, similar hobbies, similar friend groups, and constantly found fun adventures to embark on. Whether it was pretending to be spies or carrying on deep philosophical discussions, David and Dahlia have an unbreakable bond that is truly special. Dahlia and Gracie have become super close, thanks to David’s introduction. From TikTok sharing to cooking and baking together, Gracie truly became the sister that Dahlia never had. She’s so lucky to have two incredible people in her life, and she can’t wait to be by their side on their big day.

Joshua Kassel - Groomsman

Joshua Kassel, first cousin to the groom, is a graphic and apparel designer originally from Flint, Michigan, now calling Los Angeles home for nearly two decades. He serves as the Head of Design for a clothing brand. When he’s not working, Joshua can usually be found reading grim-dark fantasy books, sketching or painting, hanging with his cat, or seeking out cuisine from around the world. He also considers himself pretty funny, but out of respect for everyone here, he will not be providing proof in this bio.

Lilly Breckenridge - Bridesmaid

Lilly is a Wife to Cody, a pet mom to a German shepherd named Sophie, a black lab named Chevy and of course Lilly also has two cats named Minnie and Pooh bear. If Lilly isn’t with Gracie and David then she’s Fishing with Cody. Lilly has known Gracie since 2008. They first met at VBS with singing songs together and having a blast. Lilly and Gracie became really close friends in high school. They were always jamming out in Lilly’s car driving around or going shopping. Lilly is so excited to celebrate Gracie and David to be by their side to tie the knot. Lilly is so happy Gracie and David have found each other they are literally perfect together.

Cody Breckenridge - Groomsman

Cody is the husband of Lilly. Cody loves to fish or spend time with Lilly. Cody first met Gracie in 2017 Cody was dragged by the girls to take them shopping. Cody’s best memory with Gracie is when she was able to be on their side when Cody and Lilly were tying the knot. David and Gracie are perfect for each other. Cody can’t wait to be by Gracie and David’s side.

Desiree Lewis - Bridesmaid

Gracie and I have been friends for as long as I can remember — growing up next door, sharing countless childhood memories, and becoming more like sisters than neighbors. I am honored to stand beside Gracie on her big day and celebrate a lifelong friendship.

Aaron Floyd  - Groomsman

Aaron met David back in high school marching band. We would talk about everything from the music we would play and sing on the band bus to chatting away the days all about the games we were playing. Fast forward to now and lofe has brought us closer together and I'm so proud and honored to stand beside him as he steps into the next chapter of his life with Gracie.

Lexis LaFave - Bridesmaid

Lexis has known Gracie since their earliest years in middle school, and their bond only deepened when they later worked side-by-side at their first job and voicing their love for Justin Bieber. A defining memory for Lexis is the sweet tradition they shared: taking a daily picture after school, capturing their friendship one day at a time. Outside of celebrating this beautiful couple, Lexis is a proud dog mom to her beloved pit-bull. You can find them cuddling on the couch or walking one of the beautiful trails in Michigan. Lexis feels honored to stand by Gracie's side and can't wait to celebrate their future by celebrating the couple on the dance floor!!

Joe Dittenber - Groomsman

Joe has known David for a while, but the two really became friends in the last few years, brought together by Michael to play silly games together. Joe’s thrilled to stand by David as a groomsman, and even more thrilled that he didn’t have to roll for initiative to get the spot.

Christina Niño - Bridesmaid

Christina has been one of Gracie’s closest friends for years, and their bond has only grown stronger through every chapter of life. From strangers having a conversation about pickles in a conference room to celebrating milestones to laughing through late-night conversations, she’s been a constant source of support, joy, and love. She’s honored to stand beside Gracie and David on such a special day as they choose each other every day here on out.

Kellyce Taylor - Groomsman

Hi I'm Kellyce Taylor (Kells, K). I've had the pleasure of knowing David for a while. Introduced through Michael. We've had fun though many a campaign, or adventure. I am beyond honored to be apart of this monumental step in his great adventure!

BriAnna Jefferson - Bridesmaid

Hey all! I’m Brie! My story with Gracie and David is that I told Gracie to go for it and now here we are. First though, I met a David through his sister Dahlia after a friend of mine introduced us in high school. He was quiet at first but always the nicest when I would see him. Gracie however I could have met several times over, from potentially attending the same school, to being at the same Justin Bieber concert, to finally meeting at the center where we work. When Gracie first talked with David she saw that I was mutual friends with his sister, asking me if she should go out with him, I told her absolutely, David was a sweet guy. I am beyond honored to be standing at their side on their big day and can’t wait to see what the future brings them!

Harley Pearson - Groomsman

Hi friends. I'm Harley, just your typical dude who loves playing Video Games and playing Magic. If you find me doing something else I may have found another hyper fixation. I first met David thanks to my friend Michael when he was starting to get back into the game of Magic. I was invited over one Sunday and originally said no since I worked. I literally asked all of my coworkers to swap shifts, and thankfully got it thanks to literally the last one. I was able to attend the 1st "Boy's Night". After that we made it a regular thing, becoming friends in the process. It is thanks to that encounter that I may call him my friend, and to which I can congratulate him on his new adventure. I am so happy for him and for his partner. I can't wait to watch them start there journey together.

Madison Rowe - Bridesmaid

Hi I’m Madison, cousin of Taylor. I’ve known Gracie since I was 16 years old. We’ve shared many good times together bonding over music &amp; pop culture. It’s been an experience watching Gracie grow up &amp; now I’m extremely excited to see where her &amp; David's future takes them.

Taylor Rathburn - Bridesmaid

Hi my name is Taylor, I am one of Gracie’s bridesmaids. I cannot wait to be apart of her magical day. I met Gracie in middle school and it was as if there was an invisible string leading us to friendship. At the time of meeting Gracie I did not know she already knew a few of my good friends from activities like sports, church and other classes at school. Gracie was a missing puzzle piece in our friend group. From helping each other get ready for school dances or girls nights. Watching her become a bride will be simultaneously beautiful and yet, a very full circle moment.

The Dress Code is Formal, but feel free to wear the colors of your house or just normal formal wear that matches the Hogwarts Vibe. If you have a Hogwarts Robe we highly recommend you wear it to our Reception only please. Wands are strongly encouraged as well.
